Vegan? Nope!

I have a lot of my family that are vegan and that is great! No problem with that at all, but don't tell me that eating meat or meat byproducts are wrong. (and my family doesn't do this).

I have nothing against Vegan lifestyle! However, when the earth was created God gave man food. Genesis 1:29 "Then God said, 'I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.' And it was so."

Nothing about that has changed except for our inability to bear with each other's choices. If you choose not to eat meat or meat products, no problem. Just don't tell me I'm wrong when I kill animals for food, or eat, or support the meat industry with my purchases. That is my God given right. And yours is as well if you abstain.

I still will love you, just know that I am going to continue to eat what God has given me to eat!

I love you all!

  1. Where in that Bible quote does it include eating animal flesh?

    1. Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. Romans 14:1-4
